Spreadshirt Is Trash | A Review

After my daughter’s swim team released a ghastly team shirt for purchase, I decided to make one myself instead, just a simple logo is all. I looked around for a reputable t-shirt printer with history and good prices. I chose Spreadshirt. Unfortunately.

The ink looks like it’s been run through a washer a hundred times.

The results are atrocious. The logo is considerably off-center, noticeably tilted and almost two full inches smaller than how I set it up. And the printing itself is pathetic. White lines halo the ink. (My source image was a transparent png so there wasn’t a white background to cause this.) The color is faded and streaks run through it, most likely from clogged print heads. The inkjet at my house could print circles around Spreadshirt’s.

Here’s the horrible print lines with their tag in the photo so you know who to blame.

I still want a shirt that looks good but now I’m apprehensive about trying again with someone else. There’s plenty of options out there but their sites dominate any search results. It’s impossible to find reviews, recommendations or pictures of the final products. The one thing I do know is that Spreadshirt is absolute garbage and I’m telling absolutely anyone who will listen.
