Hueco Tanks
For New Years I traveled to Hueco Tanks State Park just outside El Paso, Texas. While many haven’t heard of it, it’s legendary among rock climbers for its sheer number and variety of opportunities. I’m not yet that experienced of a climber but I still fumbled my way up a bunch of the easier routes.
You needed a guide to even hike around the park and pictured here is Ivan who knew the area and wasn’t a bad climber himself.
By the same time next year I should be much better at the craft and look forward to going back and testing my newly honed skills.
